VMA has completed a series of tables designed for the digital production suites, conference spaces and the entrance/reception for the new Red Bull Media House located in Salzburg, Austria.

VMA re-designs the On-Air Studios at Hitradio Ö3 as a further step in a comprehensive refurbishment of the studio spaces and production equipment which includes the recently completed design for 3 production suites, conference table, and custom lighting solution for the main office space.

VMA designs a temporary 17 meter Media Tower for the ORF Sport Studio as part of the European Soccer Championship located on the Ringstrasse in Vienna, Austria.

VMA is on-site with an Artist´s Studio located outside of Vienna, Austria. Construction completion is expected in early 2009.

VMA goes On-Air with the final re-design phase of the award-winning ORF Newsroom from 2002. The new studio is a 360 degree multimedia experience with digital video projections surrounding the central newsdesk allowing flexibility to present news and information. . VMA unveils a mobile Roadshow truck for SEAT´s presentation of the new SEAT Ibiza car which travelled throughout Europe extensively with 3 trucks covering over 80,000 km and visiting over 200 cities in 20 countries. VMA designs „Ambient Gem“ for Swarovski – a magical pneumatic installation for Swarovski at the Baselworld Trade Fair in Basel, Switzerland. VMA collaborated with Neville Brody of Research Studios – London for the on-screen graphic design. www.baselworld.com.

VMA is designing a book on innovative sculptures using innovative technologies highlighting the collaboration between the sculptor Vadim Kosmatschof and Stuart Veech since 1988. The book entitled, „Trans_Mission: Organic Solar Sculptures“ will be published by Springer and will be available in Fall 2008.

VMA goes On-Air with the phase 1 re-design of the ORF Newsroom Studio. The Newsroom has gone under a major facelift and incorporates new media communication architecture providing the base for the ORF2 Zeit im Bild News programs and the home for new ORF1 programs ZIB Flash, ZIB20, and ZIB24. A third component, Heute in Österreich, adds a new dimension to the News family within the high-tech multi-functional studio atmosphere. Phase 2 is scheduled to go On-Air in 2008. Stay tuned.
VMA goes On-Air with the phase 1 re-design of the main ORF Information Studios. VMA designed the new daily information magazine formats, Wie Bitte and Konkret, as well as modications to re-locating the existing magazine studios Report, Thema, Weltjournal and Eco. Discussion formats, Runder Tisch, Pressestunde, Europa Studio, also received a new design further complementing the overall image re-design within the News family.

VMA unveils a new design for Hitradio Ö3 with a multi-functional media conference table used to communicate with the external reporters located throughout the various Landesstudios and mobile units. VMA also introduced a new suspended eliptical lighting element and new flooring system to help define and structure the open office atmosphere.

VMA has been commisioned to re-design the main ORF Information Studios as part of a major design reform. VMA will re-design their award-winning ZIB Newsroom from 2002 including 5 daily programs, introduce a new Information news channel design with 6 daily programs, 2 daily information magazines, and a studio for 3 discussion formats.

VMA completes the design for 3 production studios located in the news department at Hitradio Ö3. The design team introduced a new curved bent form which integrated the primary technical functions of the suite, as well as, elegantly sloping down into a soft surface used to sit back and review the recently recorded work.
